Business Review 2020

 

I have been working with photography for almost 10 years and for 5 years I have managed to fulfill the dream of opening my studio in Fairfield - Connecticut.

Starting any business is not easy, but I can assure you that 2020 was not easy for anyone. There were many concerns about the pandemic that hit the world.

 

In addition to the fear of contracting the virus, there came the fear of having to shut down my company for almost 3 months. There was anxiety and uncertainty about what was to come after all this madness.

 

I couldn't just sit and wait for everything to go away! And I was determined to change the way I run my company and the way I treat my customers. So, I went back to studying administration (which I had also learned in college, but through methods that were a little outdated) and improved my photography techniques.

All of this helped me deal with my anxiety better and to focus all of my efforts on making my business grow after the crisis. And, thank God, that's exactly what happened! I was lighter and happier at work and this was reflected in my photography.

 

2020 was my rebirth as an artist, despite the sadness of knowing so many people who died due to COVID-19. My mind was renewed and I was able to create new things for my clients! I grew so much as a mother, wife, woman and professional. My family today is much more united and happy.

 

Having said all this, I am trying to showcase many families’ happiness and unity even during the pandemic! Live today and celebrate what is most important in your life: your family!

 

I can only be thankful for the many special clients that I was able to photograph this year and show them how blessed they are and that no virus can destroy the many special moments they have memorialized through the photographs!
